  1. Mike, it was real nice chatting with you again today. I look forward to your third book. Glad I could help sell a couple to my friend J.P. today. I taught with him for a couple of years at Central Carolina Technical College. I’ll have to check back with him and see how he likes the books. Take care. Grady

  2. Can you get in contact with me. I am the lady who took your picture at the poultry festival….need to talk with you on some progress

i tried to email you but it came back email address is not valid…

  3. Once I’ve gotten into it, I really love this series. Looking forward to the next installment. You have introduced so many varied characters, though, that it is hard to keep track, e.g. Dobey Walls seems to be only one of a plethora of players, which makes it hard to follow his (or any individual) storyline. I hope the next chapter is longer and both helps solidify to the reader the numerous characters personalities and side-stories – and – brings Dobey Walls back to the forefront. (P.S. This whole Honey-was-raped-and now-has-a-baby-that’s-not-Dobey’s-and-he’s-having-a-hard-time-with-it thing shouldn’t go on too long in my very humble opinion; Dobey has already proved through the first book and some of the second that he is ‘way above all that. Also, we’ve already been handed two babies born from a first encounter [Red’s and now Dobey’s]. No more instant babies, please.)

  4. Hmm it appears like your site ate my first comment (it was
super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to everything.
Do you have any suggestions for newbie blog writers? I’d really appreciate it.

    • My mistake; 90% of the comments I get are spam, and I didn’t look at your address first time. I’m also shocked anytime anyone asks me for advice, and assume they are spammers, so I deleted it.So sorry, and also sorry that I can be little help. I’m not a blogger, really. I’ve written a few, but my focus is on finishing my third novel. I can tell you that I’ve seen more advice on blogging than I can digest on various Facebook and LinkedIn sites. Try http://www.writerswin.com, and best of luck.

  5. Dear Author:

I’m writing to invite you to enter your book(s) in Shelf Unbound Magazine’s 7th Annual Best Indie/Self-Published Book Competition. Any independently published book in any genre is eligible for entry. Entry fee is $75 per book. The winning entry will be selected by the editors of Shelf Unbound magazine. ENTER IN THE NEXT 10 DAYS AND TAKE $25 OFF THE ENTRY FEE.

“Independently Published” books include self-published books and e-books (such as those published through CreateSpace, Lulu.com, iUniverse, etc.) and/or books and e-books published through small presses. Books entered in last year’s competition are eligible for re-submission in this year’s competition. There is no limit to the number of books an individual can enter; each book is a separate entry. The competition is open to authors worldwide; books must be in English. Any length book is eligible. The competition also includes the Pete Delohery Award for Best Sports Book, open to fiction and non-fiction sports-related books, in honor of Pete Delohery, author of the novel Lamb to the Slaughter.

Details can be found here: http://www.shelfmediagroup.com/pages/competition.html

What makes our competition different? We have about 1,000 entries each year and feature more than 100 winners/finalists/notable books in the February/March issue of Shelf Unbound magazine (in addition to awarding cash prizes). Each issue of Shelf Unbound reaches 125,000 readers.

    Entry deadline: December 31, 2017
